The Christian life means putting off the character of the world and putting on the character of Christ.

About This Quote

The Christian life means putting off the character of the world and putting on the character of Christ. When you are a Christian, you are put in a different category from everyone else. You are expected to live differently than everyone else. The Christian life means developing new habits that are not found among “normal” people.

Perhaps, some of those people think they are fulfilling their calling by obeying their own sinful nature or by being first in line for every sinful pleasure that comes along. They do things that are wrong because they don’t realize they are doing wrong. They think they are right because they don’t know any better.

They know what is important in life, but not what is unimportant.
